ANC is a deeply personal vision I have carried for a long time — built around dignity for animals, family, respect for our living planet, and recognition of the collective mind that connects every living being.
This is the legacy I am choosing to build now.
Before anything else, this is what happens to the animal you entrust to us. It is the service as it stands today.

These words hold the heart of ANC.
Love does not end when a life does. It changes, continues, and grows through everything we choose to do next.
ANC began with a return I never expected to make. After throat cancer I closed the doors of my pet crematorium, Firtree, got married and moved to the Isle of Skye. I left cremation behind, and I believed that chapter of my life was closed for good.
For four years Firtree was under someone else’s ownership and I was not involved. I had stepped away completely.
When the former operation returned to me, I had a choice: restore the past, or build the service I now believed should exist.
ANC is that choice. The crematorium that traded as Firtree now operates under the ANC name, but this is not the old service relabelled. It is a sovereign service built around the animal first: each companion known by name, individually identified, cared for with dignity and returned home with certainty.
We are combining human care with better systems, transparent prices, responsible materials and lasting remembrance.
ANC means Amor Noster Crescit Perpetua — Our Love Grows Everlasting. It is a promise to every companion entrusted to us, to their families, to my little family, and to the living planet and collective mind we all share.
If you need us today, you do not have to read any further. Someone answers this line at any hour, and there is nothing to decide on that first call.

We are small, independent and family run. The people answering your call are the same people responsible for the care we provide.
We will make responsible choices, reduce our impact, and be honest about what we have changed and what still remains to be done.

These are genuine plans, not current features. None of them changes the service described above, which is available today.
