When the time comes, being at home may offer your companion familiar surroundings and give your family space to say goodbye. ANC can help you enquire about a home visit with a veterinary professional and discuss aftercare.
You don’t have to navigate this alone.
Deciding when to say goodbye is deeply personal. Your vet is the right person to assess your companion, discuss their comfort and quality of life, and advise whether euthanasia is appropriate. Our role is to help with arrangements and the care that follows.
We can discuss a coordinated home visit, subject to veterinary availability and your postcode. ANC does not carry out euthanasia; assessment and treatment are provided by a veterinary professional.
How arrangements work
1. Tell us what you need
Share your location, your companion’s details and whether you already have veterinary advice. We’ll help you understand the next step.
2. Speak with the vet
The veterinary professional confirms suitability, explains the visit and obtains your consent. You can ask about being present, preparing a familiar space and any wishes for the goodbye.
3. Agree fees and availability
Veterinary visit fees are separate from cremation and collection. Fees are paid directly to the vet. We’ll clarify the arrangements before you commit; a home visit is not confirmed by submitting the enquiry form.
4. Choose aftercare
If you would like individual cremation, we can discuss collection after the visit, personal keepsakes and returning your companion’s ashes. You can also discuss other arrangements with your vet.

Can you tell me whether it is time?
That decision needs veterinary advice. Contact your usual vet to discuss your companion’s health, comfort and quality of life. ANC can help coordinate arrangements following that advice.
Is the home visit included in cremation prices?
No. Veterinary fees are quoted separately and paid directly to the vet. Cremation, collection and ashes delivery are discussed separately with ANC.
Can you arrange a visit today?
Availability must be checked with the vet. We cannot guarantee a same-day home visit.
What if my pet needs urgent help?
If your companion is suffering or needs urgent help, call your usual vet or its out-of-hours service now. Please do not wait for an online enquiry response.
